At JNP renovations we pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship and design, using only the best materials that are available, making us one of the few that can design and manufacture for you exactly the finish and feel you require, and to the highest quality.
After completing school and sixth form collage at Woldgate School in Pocklington I started my apprenticeship in welding and fabrication back in 2001. At this time I worked at Pocklington Coach Works who built bespoke hospitality trailers for many of the top Formula 1 teams and this is where my passion for bespoke and precision craftsmanship began.
After a number of years at Pocklington Coach Works and after completing my City and Guilds Advanced Modern apprenticeship, I then moved on to Holmes Catering Equipment who manufactured bespoke high end catering equipment for such places as Windsor castle, The landmark hotel London, Tesco and Wholefoods Market.
At first I started out as a fabricator on the shop floor and I was very quickly moved onto the site team, then after a few years became a site supervisor. Within this time and as Holmes Catering Equipment grew and diversified into full retail fit outs so did my skill set becoming competent in joinery, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting and decorating basic electrical work.
Also within this time I bought a 18th century cottage and with the skills learnt I fully renovated my first home and this is where I found my true passion. As time moved on at Holmes Catering Equipment I was made a Project Manager looking after bespoke retail installations, from a few thousand pounds up to half a million pound installations, for top end clients such as Wholefoods Market, Tesco, BHS, Dobbies Garden Centre.
After selling my first home and buying another 18th century property again fully renovating this property, I decided that this was what I wanted and JNP renovations began. My passion is being able to bring a tired kitchen, bathroom or whole house back to life and up to date by making it a home again but without losing the originality of the building.
